SpiderBaby Live At Vicious Glamlicious On 27th January.

The sensational GlamPunk band SPIDERBABY are to make a special guest appearance at VICIOUS GLAMLICIOUS, a benefit for Heifer International, at Club Jalouse, 17 Hanover Square, London W1 on Wednesday 27th January.

For those that have yet to see the wickedly outrageous SpiderBaby in the flesh - Think Scissor Sisters meets Nine Inch Nails with a slice or two of Electric Six and a healthy taste of Rachel Stamp and three of those beautiful people that Marilyn was singing about.

SpiderBaby were formed in 2006 by SHANNON LEE and NATHAN JAMES, the duo soon picked up a strong following, adding JONTI on drums, and following a few miss-starts with female vocalists added ASHLEIGH JADE.

Their debut single "Love Buzz / Teenage Odyssey" was released in September 2006 to excellent reviews, and with a little help from video airplay on Organ TV, hit the IndieStore charts.

SpiderBaby’s next release was the EP "The Death of SpiderBaby" received critical acclaim.

Their debut album "Where The Strange Ones Go" was released shortly after as a totally free download as a gift to their loyal fans.

In September 2009 Ashleigh Jade left the band and the search for a new female vocalist was on.

Nathan and Shannon decided to look for a new female lead, someone who was a cross between Lady GaGa, Debbie Harry and Shirley Manson...but instead they found a whole lot more in the stunningly gorgeous FRANCESCA SANTAMARIA.

With a history steeped in classical music training, a heart, image and desire to be a rock star, Francesca’s eccentric, quirky musical taste, faultless vocal delivery & unbridled sex appeal ensured her debut with SpiderBaby, headlining at the Gaff in London in October 2009, was an unadulterated success and attracted SpiderBaby a celebrity following from such luminaries as RAZORLIGHT front man JOHNNY BORRELL, DAVE GROHL from NIRVANA/FOO FIGHTERS/THEM CROOKED VULTURES and New York celebrity tattooist FRIDAY JONES.

The stunning reviews from the gig, and those from the Judgement Day II event at Cable late in November ‘09, clearly proved Shannon and Nathan’s choice, of Francesca, couldn’t have been better.

Joining Nathan, Shannon and Francesca on stage, at Vicious Glamlicious, will be special guest drummer, the awesome little dynamo known as VIOLET THE CANNIBAL from THE FEMONES.

The evenings international line up for the Tattoo Couture & Vipica Productions promoted VICIOUS GLAMLICIOUS event includes Tattoo Culture’s very own Celebrity tattoo artist FRIDAY JONES, Glamtastication with LYSETTE DRUMGOLD, Temptastic Tats JENAI SE QUA and DJ CHRISTY LOVE from the HOUSE OF STANK NYC.

VICIOUS GLAMLICIOUS will be at Club Jalouse, 17 Hanover Square, London W1 on Wednesday 27th January at 8pm.
